Upon check-in, you will receive your complimentary Brixen Südtirol GuestPass. Valid for the duration of
your stay, this travel companion is an invitation to explore the many opportunities our holiday area
has in store for you.
One card for countless experiences – with the Brixen Südtirol GuestPass, you can travel
for free on public transport across South Tyrol
and ride for free once a day on the Gitschberg and Jochtal cable cars (in selected periods).
Included services
Cable cars included (one free uphill and downhill ride per day each cable car):
- Free rides on the Jochtal cable car in Vals and the Gitschberg cable car in Meransen from 14th of May to the 10th of July & 6th of September to 18th of October 2026
- NEW Free use of the Plose cable cars (near Brixen) from 23rd of May to the 10th of July & 06th of September to 18th of October 2026
From 11th of July 2026 to the 5th of September 2026, use of the cable cars the Gitschberg Jochtal Ski & Alpine Pasture Region is not included in the Brixen Südtirol GuestPass.

Terms of Use Digital Guest Card
Upon completion of the accommodation contract, the Südtirol (consequently Guest Pass) will be issued to the guest, which according to the decision of the South Tyrolean regional government No. 732/2022, is valid for the entire duration of their stay as well as from 0:00 on the day of arrival unto 24:00 on the day of departure.
The Guest Pass includes the use of all public transport within the “südtirolmobil” network area as well as additional services, which vary depending on the tourism organization. Detailed information can be found at: suedtirol-guestpass.info
The sole entity carrying the Guest Pass in South Tyrol is the Mobilitätskonsortium, appointed as the unified coordination point in accordance with the above decision of the South Tyrolean regional government by the Provincial Association of Tourism Organizations of South Tyrol on November 16, 2022.The details of the additional services associated with the Guest Pass and the conditions of use of the Guest Pass are communicated by the third party responsible for issuing and managing the Guest Pass.
